OVER 80 YEARS
“RIO GRANDE BIBLE MINISTRIES EXISTS TO GLORIFY GOD BY SERVING THE CHURCH THROUGH EQUIPPING LEADERS, EDIFYING BELIEVERS AND EVANGELIZING THE LOST.”
RIO GRANDE BIBLE COLLEGE
Exists to develop Christ-centered leaders with a biblical worldview for the global church.
Since February 1999, Rio Grande Bible College (Rio Grande Bible Institute) has been formally accredited. The authorization to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate, Baccalaureate, and Master’s levels is given by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808), an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. The authorization to function in Texas is overseen by the Texas Workforce Commission.
Providing an excellent education is one of our highest priorities. We are committed to preparing Christ-centered leaders for ministry with academic excellence and biblical conviction. Learn more about this important work by clicking below.
Being accredited by the ABHE means that the institution complies with the norms of quality and integrity accepted in the world of higher education that have been approved by a group of similar institutions, since the accrediting association is made up of leaders from other Bible seminaries. This means that students can transfer their credits to many American Bible colleges, Christian liberal arts colleges, and similar secular universities. The college is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the National Association for Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), the American Council on Education (ACE), and National Council of State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). Rio Grande Bible Ministries is also a member of the following agencies: Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), Christian Stewardship Association, the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC), and the Independent Fundamental Churches of America (IFCA).

The Intercultural Studies Program exists to prepare missionaries linguistically, culturally, and spiritually for ministry in the Spanish-speaking world.

BIBLEVILLE
Bibleville’s ministry is designed to equip leaders, edify believers, and evangelize the lost through Bible conferences, gospel concerts, outreach efforts, and by supporting the ministries of Rio Grande Bible College.
RIO GRANDE GLOBAL
Rio Grande Global exists to mobilize the Latin American church for God’s global harvest. The vision is to see Latin American churches actively engaged in praying for world missions, sending missionaries around the world, supporting those missionaries financially, and encouraging other churches to participate in God’s global harvest.
Rio Grande Global partners with local churches and pastors by providing teaching, encouragement, and practical guidance as they embrace the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. This process often begins through training events and conferences. Rio Grande Global then assists local churches to form missions committees, develope missions strategies, support their missionaries, and prepare workers for overseas ministry.
RIO GRANDE MAGAZINE
Rio Grande publishes the RIO GRANDE MAGAZINE three times each year. This publication provides updates on various aspects of the ministry, and a devotional designed to encourage and strengthen readers in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
KOINONIA KOFFE
Founded in 2013, Koinonia Koffee serves both the community and the campus as a coffee shop and student center. We provide a welcoming environment where students, staff, and community members can gather with friends over coffee, paninis, and freshly baked pastries.
WINTER VOLUNTEERS
The Winter Volunteers Program provides essential support for the mission of Rio Grande Bible Ministries. God has blessed us with dedicated volunteers who contribute their gifts and talents at the right time and in the right places.
We offer three volunteer opportunities: Mission Teams, Volunteers, and Winter Volunteers.
Staff and volunteers come from across the United States, Canada, and many other countries to serve the Lord at both the Edinburg and Hot Springs, SD campuses. Some participate during the winter months, others serve throughout the year, and some commit to longer-term ministry as staff members or missionary staff. Each person contributes uniquely to the ministry through their God-given gifts and abilities.

VOLUNTEERS TEAMS
We thank God for the commitment and service of these dedicated volunteers.
Teams of dedicated volunteers experienced opportunities to contribute in a meaningful way to the ministry of Rio Grande. They also learn about the history of Rio Grande and its vision for the future. God is faithful, and we continue to follow His leading as He opens new opportunities for ministry.
Volunteers are challenged to invest their service in something tangible with lasting impact and remain focused on what truly matters.
“I don’t fear failure; I fear succeeding at what doesn’t really matter.”
