Prayer Calendar March 2026
SUN MARCH 1 – Pray that God will bless the local congregations who welcome our students on Sundays during the school year. We trust that, through this experience, the students will be exposed to different ways of serving the Lord.

MON MARCH 2 – Pray God’s blessings today on Luis (SB’13) and Jada (Thomas, MLS’11; SB’16) Giménez of our staff. Luis is Director of Online Studies, and Jada keeps busy as a wife and mom.

TUE MARCH 3 – Remember Matias (SB’20) and Hadlai (SB’19) Francisquetti in prayer today as they minister in Cuenca, Ecuador. There are many opportunities to serve at the church they attend and in their neighborhood. They have two young sons.

WED MARCH 4 – Billy Jackson (ICS’17) now serves as our Director of Media, which includes the ministry of Radio Esperanza and the oversight of the positions mentioned in tomorrow’s request. Please keep him and Sarah (ICS’19) in your prayers as they adapt to these changes.

THU MARCH 5 – Due to Billy Jackson’s added responsibilities as Director of Media, we ask you to join us in praying for a photographer/videographer and a graphic designer to serve in the Media area.

FRI MARCH 6 – Mike and Joan Godsell are on the staff at our South Dakota site. Pray for them as they prepare for school opening, Lord willing, in the fall. Ask God to bring more workers to serve with them.

SAT MARCH 7 – Thank God for the ministry of Radio Esperanza, as it sends out the “Good News” day and night, throughout Texas and northern Mexico, and around the world via the Internet. Pray for those who faithfully serve in this ministry.

SUN MARCH 8 – Ask God’s blessing on Bill and Sandi Graf. Bill is one of our faithful workers who keep the buildings and other parts of campus working well. Thank the Lord for this couple’s many years of service here.

MON MARCH 9 – Laura Fouser (MLS’94) has served for many years in Brazil and Ecuador and has had many opportunities to teach the Bible to adults and children. Ask God to guide her to those who need to know Him and His Word.

TUE MARCH 10 – Pray for our leaders at Rio Grande as official laws change from time to time. May the Lord give wisdom to our president and other leaders, as they look to Him for guidance.

WED MARCH 11 – JT and Heather Greer (both ICS’23) will appreciate prayer as they locate and prepare items for staff, students, and local friends at the campus Food Pantry. Thank the Lord for all they do to make this ministry a success.

THU MARCH 12 – Pray today for Canadian Helen Blackburn (MLS’11), who for many years has ministered to young boys in Bolivia. Ask God to give her good health so she may continue serving Him and “her boys.”

FRI MARCH 13 – Remember staff members Keith and Olivia Heppner in prayer today. Keith is the VP of Information and Technology and a Designated School Official for immigration matters.

SAT MARCH 14 – Please pray today for our married students as they study and make time to spend with their children. May their experience here be a positive one for the entire family.

SUN MARCH 15 – Marci Heppner, daughter of Keith and Olivia, joined our staff last fall and serves in the personnel and staff recruitment areas. Pray for her as she adapts to these new responsibilities.

MON MARCH 16 – The Spring Break takes place from today through Wednesday. Ask the Lord to give staff and students a few days to relax before the Leadership Conference begins on Wednesday.

TUE MARCH 17 – Dan and Vangie (Friesen, SB’89) Birtles serve with Wycliff in Mexico. Pray for them today as they serve with national workers to translate God’s Word into local languages.

WED MARCH 18 – The Leadership Conference on our campus begins today and concludes on Saturday. Ask God to direct those who lead the sessions, and that the information they share will be helpful to our students.

THU MARCH 19 – Please pray today for staff members Irian (BC’22) and Sarah Hernandez. Irian is now the Dean of Men, working closely with the students. Ask God to give him wisdom as he serves in this position.

FRI MARCH 20 – Thank God for the “Winter Volunteers,” who have spent the past several months with us. They have done an amazing number of things to bless us and to improve the campus.

SAT MARCH 21 – Continue to pray for our president, Larry Windle, and his wife, Ruth (both MLS’97) in their leadership and service here at Rio Grande. May the Lord give wisdom in every situation that comes their way.

MON MARCH 23 – Radio Esperanza staff will appreciate prayer that their programs will reach into the homes and hearts of their vast audience. Thank God for the opportunities they have to minister to the listeners.

TUE MARCH 24 – Pray today for members of our students’ families who do not know the Lord. May God use the testimonies of their loved ones to speak to them of their need of the Savior.

WED MARCH 25 – Patricia Hoeksema is another new Rio Grande staff member. She serves in the accounts area here. Pray that the Lord will bless her in this new ministry and use her for His glory.

THU MARCH 26 – There will be a Morning of Prayer on campus today. Prayers will be made for this ministry, our leaders, our country, and personal requests. Ask God to move in all our hearts.

FRI MARCH 27 – We ask you to pray today for Cristy Hofer, who is the Assistant to the Media Director here at Rio Grande. Thank the Lord for all she does to make our public ministries effective.

SAT MARCH 28 – Easter Mission Trips begin today (through April 5). Ask the Lord to use our students as they reach out to share the good news of the Gospel with those they will meet in these days.

SUN MARCH 29 – Pray for our staff who serve with Rio Grande Global. May God guide them to congregations throughout the Spanish-speaking world who will send out their own members to share the “Good News.”

MON MARCH 30 – Pray for the students as they make summer plans. Some will be serving in faraway countries; others will be closer to home. Ask the Lord to use them wherever they may go.

TUE MARCH 31 – Thank the Lord for Bob Kerr, who lives at Bibleville and helps on the campus when needed. Thank the Lord for his willing spirit, and ask God to bless him as he serves others.
